Match the Material to the Application
One of the easiest ways to create trouble in a dental printing workflow is to choose a resin by a general label and ignore the rest of the process.
“Model resin” can refer to different jobs. A working implant model, a thermoforming model exposed to heat and pressure, and a routine orthodontic model do not place the same demands on a material. The same is true for splints, denture bases, surgical guides, and restorative materials.
