Soft Splint Resin
Key Features
RF-SS-13 Soft Splint Resin is specifically designed for 3D printed occlusal pads (bite pads) and night guards. Its unique temperature-changing shape memory function softens at 35–50°C, allowing the splint to conform precisely to the patient’s dentition for superior comfort and fit. Safe, non-toxic, corrosion-resistant, and dimensionally stable.

Post-Processing & Storage
-
1
Wash – Clean the printed model with isopropyl alcohol using an ultrasonic cleaner. Avoid high-frequency shock or forceful brushing, as this may damage fine surface details.
-
2
Dry – Thoroughly blow-dry the model with a hair dryer after cleaning. Ensure no alcohol residue remains on the surface before proceeding.
-
3
Remove Supports – Remove supports before post-curing. Removing supports after post-cure may damage the contact surface at support attachment points.
-
4
Post-Cure (UV Lamp, 5 min) – Cure under a UV lamp for 5 minutes to achieve optimal toughness. The resin’s shape memory function activates at 35–50°C — briefly warming the finished splint allows it to conform precisely to the patient’s dentition for a superior intraoral fit.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and visible light to prevent premature polymerization. Keep away from heat sources above 35°C to avoid unintended softening of the shape memory material.
Safety
Eyes: Flush with clean water for at least 20 minutes and seek medical attention immediately. Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash thoroughly with soap and water. Not approved for food, drink, or medical application on the human body. See MSDS for details.
Machine Compatibility
Open-system compatible with all major LCD / MSLA / DLP dental 3D printers. Parameter profiles available upon request.
