Post-Processing & Storage

  • 1

Wash – Clean the model using isopropyl alcohol (IPA) in an ultrasonic cleaning machine. Avoid high-frequency shock or forceful brushing to protect fine surface details.

  • 2

Dry – Thoroughly blow the model dry with a hair dryer or similar tool.

  • 3

Remove Supports – Remove supports before post-curing. Removing them after curing can easily damage the support contact surface.

  • 4

Post-Cure – For applications requiring certain toughness, UV cure for 5 minutes. Store printed parts in a cool, dry place after curing.

Storage

Store below 25°C in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Keep away from visible light to prevent resin polymerization and gelation.

Safety

Eyes: Flush with clean water for at least 20 minutes and seek medical attention immediately. Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash thoroughly with soap and water. Not approved for food, drink, or medical application on the human body. See MSDS for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q
How does the TDS describe RF-DB-04’s use?
The narrative describes transparent implant-guide and locator workflows, but the application field says “Dental model” and the safety section states that the resin is not approved for medical application on the human body.
  • Q
What are the main measured properties?
The TDS reports 83–87 Shore D hardness, 61.4 MPa tensile strength, 65.6 MPa flexural strength, 1700 MPa flexural modulus and 69°C HDT at 0.45 MPa.
  • Q
Which printing technologies and machines are listed?
The TDS specifies LCD and DLP processing and provides parameters for Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S, Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra and Saturn 3 Ultra, Creality HALOT-MAGE Pro, Anycubic Photon Mono 4 Ultra and Photon Mono M7 Pro.
  • Q
How should printed parts be cleaned and post-cured?
Clean with isopropyl alcohol in an ultrasonic cleaner without high-frequency shock or forceful brushing, blow dry thoroughly, remove supports before post-curing, and UV cure for 5 minutes when toughness is required.
  • Q
Can this page establish clinical approval or a sterilization protocol?
No. The current TDS provides no sterilization protocol and states that the resin is not approved for medical application on the human body. Confirm current product and market documentation before any clinical or patient-contact use.
